Qatar - The Venue

Qatar is a landmark in the energy world today. An early member of OPEC, the country is one of the world's largest producers and exporters of natural gas and boasts one of the world's fastest growing economies and highest per capita incomes.

Situated between Europe and the Far East, Qatar has emerged as one of the major destinations for tourism in the Middle East where seaside resorts, five star hotels, and first class facilities cater to varying needs and tastes.

An abundance of sun, sea and sand make the country an ideal place for people seeking immaculate beaches stretching for miles along the Arabian Gulf, expanses of desert and breathtaking sand dunes. It also allows visitors to become acquainted with the delight of the distinguished Bedouin Lifestyle.

International Petroleum and Petrochemical Exhibition

An exhibition was held in conjunction with this regional meeting which also was focussed towards the petroleum industry.
