Event Details

WPC Energy Canada is set to usher in a new era of dialogue by hosting a thought-provoking discussion on how the newly elected U.S. President could shape critical areas such as trade, climate policy, economic growth, and energy security for Canada. As the U.S. remains Canada’s largest trading partner, decisions made south of the border can have significant ripple effects on Canadian industries, particularly in the energy sector.

This exclusive event, featuring a moderated ‘fireside chat’ with the Right Honourable Stephen J. Harper, 22nd Prime Minister of Canada, alongside prominent Canadian business leaders, promises to deliver timely insights. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how the U.S.-Canada business relationship—rooted in billions of dollars in trade, shared resources, and intertwined supply chains—could evolve less than 24 hours after the U.S. election results are released. With the U.S. election having a potential impact on everything from energy policy alignment to cross-border infrastructure, this discussion will provide valuable guidance for businesses navigating the complex and dynamic landscape of North American economic and political relations.
