Lauren Savoie

Vice Chair, WPC Energy Canada

Lauren has over 20 years of Canadian and international experience in the energy industry with roles in facilities, environment, development, strategy, commerce and engineering. She has extensive experience in project management, strategy development and budgeting. Lauren joined Suncor in 2017 and is currently Director, Strategic Development & Integration. She is responsible for Suncor’s bitumen supply strategy, covering all assets in the Wood Buffalo Region. Prior to her work at Suncor, Lauren held positions as Director, Petro Chad Transport, a pipeline company at Glencore E&P Inc.; and, as Director, Asset Management at Caracal Energy Inc. with assets in Chad Africa. Lauren has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Victoria and is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta. In her spare time, she can be found skiing with her family in Fernie BC.
